The following items are due by the deadline listed in your acceptance letter.
Your seat will be offered to another candidate if you have not completed all items on this list by the deadline.

PAY YOUR $1,000 DEPOSIT TO SECURE YOUR SEAT

This non-refundable $1,000 deposit guarantees your place in the class and is applied to your first semester tuition.

You can pay your deposit through your student portal in the AFI Conservatory’s Student Information System called CoreCampus. You will receive an invitation email with instructions on how to log into your student portal. Once logged in, click on the “Enrollment Requirements” tile to pay your deposit.

SUBMIT OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS

Official transcripts are required to complete your enrollment in the MFA program. Transcripts are a list of courses you completed and the grades you received at an institution. Transcripts are only considered official if we receive them directly from the issuing institution. Documents may be sent digitally or via regular postal mail in a signed and sealed envelope. Official transcripts from all schools listed* in the academic section of your admissions application are required. If you received your bachelor’s degree already, transcripts are due by the deadline on your acceptance letter. If you are still enrolled in your undergraduate program and will not graduate until May or June, please send official transcripts once you graduate and the degree has been posted on your academic record.

*For International Transcripts: All credentials and transcripts must include an original copy plus an official English translation. If your school does not provide English translations, you must get them translated by a certified English translator. Credentials and transcripts will be considered official if we receive them directly from the translator.

OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS

SUBMIT A BACHELOR’S EQUIVALENCY REPORT (if applicable)

A bachelor’s degree equivalency report is required of any applicant who received a bachelor’s degree outside of the United States. For more information about how to obtain a report, please visit our website. If you received your bachelor’s degree already, an IBE report is due by the deadline on your acceptance letter. If you are still enrolled in your undergraduate program and will not graduate until May or June, an IBE report is due once your degree can be evaluated after your graduation. Official transcripts and an IBE report must be received no later than August 1 to reserve your seat and allow you to begin your program at the AFI Conservatory.

We prefer to receive these documents digitally directly from your school(s) as well as your credential evaluation service organization. Digital transcripts and/or IBE Reports can be sent to Admissions@AFI.edu. Hard copies can be sent to the address below.
