OVERVIEW

The Office of the Registrar is responsible for providing academic support services to Fellows, Faculty, Staff and Alumni.

The Office of the Registrar manages educational records and all official matters relating to Fellow enrollment including the advising and application of academic policies and procedures, matriculation and the culmination in the degree/certificate program at the AFI Conservatory. The Office of the Registrar maintains the educational records of the Fellows in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). AFI Conservatory Fellows are annually notified of their FERPA rights in the annual publication of the Fellow’s Handbook.

Additional services provided by the Office of the Registrar include course surveys and evaluations, calendaring, official transcripts/diplomas/verifications, VA benefits certification and commencement planning.
