Evolution of Editing a Scene

Join AFI Editing Faculty and Emmy®-nominated editor Varun Viswanath as he walks you through three iterations of a scene: Assistant Editor’s Cut, Editor’s Cut and Director’s Cut. He will use a scene from the critically acclaimed series RESERVATION DOGS (FX) of which he was an editor. This session will explore the elements of each iteration and how they lead to the next and final cut.
