Earn your MFA in Cinematography and take your filmmaking career to the next level. AFI Cinematographers spend two years immersed in honing their craft. As part of the cinematography curriculum, AFI Cinematographers have the chance to work on 28 films a year with unprecedented access to lighting workshops and practical seminars taught by acclaimed cinematographers, and create a 35mm visual essay which is screened at the annual AFI Visual Essay industry showcase.
