Cinematography

The AFI Conservatory MFA Cinematography program teaches filmmakers the skills needed to be an expert in the technical aspects of cinematography and how to make fast, informed and inspired creative decisions. Cinematographers in the program will have the chance to work on multiple films a year and produce a 35mm visual essay – with unprecedented access to lighting workshops and practical seminars taught by acclaimed cinematographers.
